DO NOT go overboard with Twitter. It is a remarkable tool to your marketing arsenal, but if everyone abuses it then the possibility exists that like Google, Twitter may begin to place restrictions that limits spamming and curb abuse.

Be relevant. Your followers are smart and educated people. Do not insult their intelligence by making outdated and spammy offers.
